The Role

As a Senior Java Developer at iGATES, you will tackle diverse, non-commodity projects—from secure financial gateways to complex operating system infrastructures—where professional growth meets technical mastery.

What You’ll Do

• Design and Develop: Lead the end-to-end development of robust, tailor-made backend architectures using Java and modern frameworks.
• Solve Complex Challenges: Engineer solutions for high-load environments, focusing on speed, scalability, and extreme reliability.
• Security Integration: Implement advanced security protocols and payment authentication standards (such as 3DS) to ensure top-tier data protection.
• Collaborate: Work closely with our UI/UX and product teams to transform detailed system characterizations into high-quality code.
• Mentor and Grow: Share your expertise with the team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous professional evolution.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of JVM internals and multi-threading.
• System Architecture: Proven track record of building complex, scalable B2B or security-focused systems from scratch.
• Security Expertise: Familiarity with secure coding practices, encryption, and financial/security industry standards.
• Problem-Solving DNA: A passion for deconstructing complex requirements and building elegant, high-speed solutions.
• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
