About the Role
iGATES is looking for a creative and motivated Junior UX/UI Designer to join us and take part in the design of digital products — from the initial idea and user experience definition to polished interfaces ready for development.
The role includes designing mobile applications, web systems, and technology products, working closely with the Product Manager and developers.
We are looking for someone who combines strong visual design skills with user-centered thinking, creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
An important part of this role is the ability to sketch, illustrate, and visually communicate ideas — from quick hand-drawn concepts to polished illustrations and UI elements.
This is an opportunity for a designer at the beginning of their career to work on real products, collaborate closely with experienced product and development professionals, and grow through hands-on experience.
What You'll Do
- Design UX/UI for mobile applications, web systems, and digital products.
- Create User Flows, Wireframes, Mockups, and interactive Prototypes.
- Translate product requirements and ideas into clear, intuitive, and visually appealing user experiences.
- Create and maintain UI components and contribute to Design Systems.
- Prepare high-fidelity designs and design specifications for development.
- Work closely with the Product Manager and development team throughout the product lifecycle.
- Improve and refine existing products and user experiences based on feedback and product needs.
- Create visual concepts, sketches, illustrations, icons, and other visual assets when required.
- Explore different design directions and present design concepts and solutions.
- Use AI tools as part of the design process to explore ideas, accelerate workflows, and create design concepts.
- Stay up to date with current UX/UI, mobile, and digital design trends.
What You Bring
- 0–2 years of experience in UX/UI design — including relevant academic, course, internship, freelance, or personal project experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work — required.
- Strong drawing, sketching, or illustration skills — an important part of the role.
- Strong proficiency in Figma.
- Understanding of UX principles, user flows, usability, visual hierarchy, and interaction design.
- Ability to create Wireframes, User Flows, Mockups, and Prototypes.
- Ability to communicate ideas visually and turn rough concepts into clear design solutions.
- Good understanding of typography, layout, spacing, color, and visual composition.
- Creative thinking combined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to receive feedback, make changes, and continuously improve designs.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and manage priorities.
- Good Hebrew and English communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies.
- Experience using AI tools as part of the design process.
Advantage
